Quality construction and a full range of motors in a wide variety of voltages create the Karlington difference. Motors offer the following advantages: single piece stainless steel 431 rotor assembly; copper stator windings coated with either specially treated PVC or high temperature PE2; tungsten carbide/silicon carbide mechanical seals and Kingsbury bearings on all 6” and larger motors; 4” motors have bi-directional mechanical seals, Sandshield™ and radial seal protection on the shaft; inverter duty rated motors may be used with variable speed drives; NEMA standard configuration with high tolerances to ensure a seamless fit to the pump. Excellent full load amp draw at the rated condition may result in lower amp rated motor starters in panels and lower electricity consumption reducing the overall cost of the system. The standard features on all Karlington premium motors are what set them apart.
