New Submersible Motor Products

Karlington has added the Slim 6 and Slim 8 water-filled rewindable submersible motors to our product line. These motors have Kingsbury-type thrust bearings, NEMA connections and are suitable for municipal, industrial (including mining and coalbed methane) and agricultural applications.

The Slim 6 has a diameter of just 123mm (4.84”) and is available with NEMA 6 connection in the standard version or with a NEMA 4 connection in our Roughneck model. The standard Slim 6 is available in 7.5HP-30HP while the Roughneck model is available in 7.5HP-12.5HP. The Slim 6 is rated for use in temperatures to 35 degrees C.

The Slim 8 has a diameter of 165mm (6.5”) and is available with NEMA 8 connection in 30HP-90HP or with NEMA 6 connection for 30HP-60HP. This motor is rated for ambient temperatures to 60 degrees C.

Slim 6 and Slim 8 motors are available in 50Hz or 60Hz and in a variety of voltages. To find detailed product specifications for our Slim 6 and Slim 8 motors, please see our product sheets.
